Gus Ocamposilva, a contemporary Colombian born artists, studied murals at the Massana School of Barcelona and painting procedures at Barcelona University in Spain.
Ocamposilva's paintings and sculptures are interpretations of the world he was raised, in a world filled with great diversity of colors, where the most difficult times served as inspiration to fortify the spirit, his experience as a student in Europe and now as a resident of the United States provide additional inspiration for his dynamic works.
Highly influenced by Latin American Culture, Ocamposilva creates a unique style using bright colors and exquisite forms. The sculptor/painter hopes to show his passion for life through his works. He can not imaging a world without colors, magic, poetry and the landscape of the human body.
